| Tramline: A tramline, operating only in summer (July to September) connects
Ribeira de Sintra, Banzão (near Colares, famous for its excellent wine)
and Praia das Maçãs, the best known beach on the Sintra coastline.
At the present the line is being lengthened to Sintra, adjacent to the
Museum of Modern Art, this should be operational by the end of 2004. |
