Set in the house where he spent the last fifteen years of his life, this fascinating museum celebrates the work of Fernando Pessoa (1888-1935), one of Portugal ’s most popular poets.
Opened to the public in 1993, and remaining more or less the same as he left it, the house contains a library specialising in his work and that of other poets of his generation.
It is also a regular venue for poetry readings and temporary art exhibitions related to the theme.
