Close to the Tejo River , near the Terreiro do Paço. It is the reconstruction of the old manueline church of Nossa Senhora da Misericórdia , destroyed by the earthquake of 1755. Of the old church remains little, including the southern façade with its manueline portal, some images and the main chapel.
The church's interior has just one nave, with images of Santo António and the Senhor dos Passos right by the main door.
